The Shift Leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
Essential Functions- Demonstrates self‑awareness and motivates self and others.
- Proactively seeks and accepts feedback.
- Ensures adherence to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety.
- Creates a supportive environment for team members to excel.
- Interacts with guests and resolves concerns promptly.
- Manages sales and labor tracking within company systems.
- Ensures cash handling procedures are followed and adheres to food and cash control guidelines.
- Maintains cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards to uphold brand image.
- Plans and executes shift operations efficiently.
- Follows guidelines for cost control and resource utilization.
- Leads with empathy, fairness, and a focus on teamwork.
- Identifies and develops talent for future roles.
- Applies financial understanding to improve business decisions.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Supports the success of the business hands‑on as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with restaurant management or fast‑food restaurant experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to make others happy and serve one another.
- Strong communication skills in English;
Spanish comprehension helpful. - Self‑motivated and action‑oriented.
- Willing to admit mistakes, take accountability, and fix issues.
- Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts; dependable and reliable.
- Reliable transportation to work and company events/meetings.
- Availability to work a variety of days/times, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical requirements:
lift, move, carry, and stack up to 50 lbs; stand for long periods; bend and reach overhead. Frequent exposure to fluctuating temperatures; common hazards include slipping, tripping, burns, cuts, and falls. - Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Employment DetailsLocation:

Pay: $16.50 – $18.50 per hour (full‑time or part‑time).
