Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract:
Temporary (6-8 weeks)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
The Role
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator / Repair Technician to join our clients team on a temporary basis for approximately 6-8 weeks to support a busy workload and holiday cover requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, cutting, repairing, and fabricating wearing parts used on agricultural machinery, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding on agricultural machinery components
Cutting and fabricating replacement and wearing parts
Repairing damaged machinery components and equipment
Reading and working from drawings where required
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Carrying out quality checks on completed work Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication
Experience repairing machinery or heavy equipment is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environmentPPE
Candidates who have their own:
Welding helmet/headpiece
Safety bootswould be preferred; however, all other required PPE and equipment will be provided by Agri Linc.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
Start time: 7:30am
Finish time: 5:00pm
1-hour unpaid lunch break
Typical working day: 8-9 hours
£15.00 - £16.00 per hour, dependent on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder/fabricator looking for a short-term assignment with an established agricultural engineering business during a busy period.
