Accounts Senior

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting practice. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the management of a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services, and leading a team of junior accountants. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a thriving practice environment.

• Prepare and review Limited Company and Sole Trade accounts prepared under FRS
  102, FRS
  105, IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Advise clients on tax implications, prepare and review tax returns (corporate, personal, and VAT), and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, reviewing their work and fostering their professional growth.
• Offer financial and business advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions, optimize their financial performance, and achieve their objectives.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships, participate in business development efforts, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations, ensuring clients' compliance with all relevant laws.

• ACA/ACCA qualified, or nearing completion.
• Proven experience working in an accounting practice, including exposure to client management and financial reporting.
• Thorough understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, Sage).
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Business development acumen is a plus.
