Senior Accountant

They're now looking for a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join their team – a role that comes with a broad scope of responsibilities, client interaction, and the ability to shape your career in the direction you want.

• Manage your own portfolio of clients, working closely with partners
• Review and prepare statutory accounts, including more complex cases
• Oversee and review work completed by juniors and semi seniors – bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts
• Provide technical advice to clients, answering queries and offering proactive support
• Get involved with management accounts and corporate tax return reviews
• Option to expand into audit, personal tax, or other areas depending on your interest
• Mentor and train junior staff, playing an important part in team development

• Qualified (AAT, ACCA, ACA) preferred but not essential
• Solid knowledge of statutory accounts, VAT, and tax
• A natural communicator who builds relationships with clients and colleagues
• A team player with a client-focused approach and attention to detail
