REED are exclusively working with a Bournemouth based family Construction business, recruiting a Credit Controller to work within a small and friendly team. The company are supportive, have a genuine warmth to the business and operate a multi branch business with the head office in Bournemouth.

Credit Controller / Accounts Administrator

Full Time: 9am - 5pm (Office Based) - Free, onsite parking available

Salary - £14.28 per hour (£ hours

Duties:

Process and allocate receipts for Bacs & Cheques
Take payments over the phone & process card payments on the PDQ machine and on the in-house system (shortly we will be switching to on-line payments)
Reconcile unallocated cash
Credit check new applications & requests for credit limit increases using Experian / Top Service
Open new accounts
Chase overdue accounts by telephone/email (Currently approximately 500-600 per month per person)
Answer incoming calls from Branches & Customers
Update and maintain notes on the system when a customer or branch calls
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
Ensure debts are paid in-line with the credit control collection timetable
