Document Controller
A reputable regional contractor based in the south coast is seeking an experienced Document Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the paramount contractors within the south coast, with a fantastic pipeline of future works on the books.
About the roleThe contractor traditionally specialises in high spec commercial projects including education, healthcare, MOD & industrial new builds typically valuing between £5M and £150M. Operating across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller will originally oversee a variety of projects, based out of the head office in Dorset.
Responsibilities- Maintain the document control filing and archiving in accordance with the company procedures.
- Provide full secretarial support to Management including arranging meetings, producing agendas and minutes, circulating and collating information, arranging diaries and generic ad‑hoc admin.
- Record the documents in the company database, organise the dispatch, collect the comments.
- Ensure all design documentation meets approved guidelines, while liaising and supporting site teams with the roll out of the latest issue of design documentation.
- 1–2 years of experience within the construction industry is required.
- Previous experience using A‑site is preferred.
- Organised and proactive nature and attitude.
