About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the team as a Faculty Operations Administrator. The successful candidate will work with the Faculty Operations Officers to ensure effective operational support within faculties and co‑ordinate all faculty finance and resource administrative processes. The role requires building strong working relationships, prioritising a busy workload, and working flexibly and collaboratively to provide an excellent service to the faculties.
Candidates must have a strong organisational foundation, clear communication, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
Open to Bournemouth University staff and agency staff currently working at Bournemouth University only. This post is available for up to 12 months on a fixed‑term contract or secondment basis. Internal applicants may be considered for a secondment, though this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.

- Co‑ordinate faculty finance and resource administrative processes in partnership with Faculty Operations Officers.
- Ensure delivery of operational support within faculties, maintaining compliance and governance standards.
- Provide operational expertise, guidance, and services to staff, students, and PGRs.
- Support and enhance the academic environment, contributing to BU’s strategic objectives.
- Motivated, organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload.
