Job Title
Customer Service Specialist
SalaryUp to £33,000.00 per annum DoE
LocationBournemouth
Hours of WorkMonday - Friday 9am - 5:30
Responsibilities- Proactively resolve customer complaints by collaborating with internal departments to improve the customer journey.
- Manage complaint handling with professionalism, empathy, and confidence, de‑escalating challenging situations when required.
- Take ownership of cases, prioritise workloads, and ensure complaints are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Identify root causes of complaints and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience and reduce complaint volumes.
- Manage escalated cases involving Finance Partners and the Ombudsman, ensuring all correspondence complies with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and third parties, communicating with professionalism, credibility, and sound judgement.
- Excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to use own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and a solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong written English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A balance of commercial awareness and customer focus, delivering positive outcomes for all parties.
- Experience managing complaints and escalated customer cases is preferable.
