We’re supporting a well-established financial services business looking for a Customer Service Consultant to join their team in Bournemouth on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background looking to gain experience within financial services. Full training will be provided, so previous financial services experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and support customers, providing a professional and friendly service
Understand customer needs and introduce relevant products and services
Build strong customer relationships and identify referral opportunities
Handle customer information and documentation accurately and confidentially
Complete general administration and maintain accurate records
Work towards agreed customer service and referral targets
Work closely with colleagues and advisers to ensure customers receive appropriate support

Requirements:

Previous customer-facing, retail, sales, or customer service experience
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Comfortable discussing customer needs and identifying opportunities
Strong attention to detail and administration skills
Confident using IT systems
Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

What’s on

Offer:

£12.71 per hour
Temporary contract until 24 November
Immediate start
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Two Saturday mornings per month, with time off in lieu
Full training and ongoing support
