Architectural Technologist

Overview

LB Design Recruitment are working with a well-established residential developer based in Wimborne who are looking to appoint an Architectural Technologist to join their growing in-house team.

With several new sites due to commence later this year, this is a newly created role driven by continued growth. The company delivers high-quality, traditionally detailed residential schemes across Dorset and the surrounding counties, with the majority of architectural design undertaken internally.

• Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages for residential developments
• Coordinating information across internal departments and external consultants
• Assisting with planning amendments, building regulations submissions and technical approvals
• Ensuring designs comply with current UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards
• Supporting the delivery of multiple sites at various stages

• Experience working on UK residential schemes
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current UK Building Regulations
• Ability to produce accurate and detailed working drawing packages
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Experience using Archi
  
  CAD is advantageous, although training will be provided

The role will be predominantly office-based. The business is due to move into a brand-new, purpose-built headquarters in March – a beautifully designed office environment that reflects the quality and ambition of their developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing developer with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtfully designed homes. Salary is very much dependent on the individual and their level of experience.
