Job Role
We're currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Employability Trainer to deliver a variety of training and one-to-one support to prepare participants for securing sustainable employment.
You will facilitate high quality, engaging sessions that develop participants’ employability skills, including interview techniques, job application tactics, confidence
Shots, and transferable skills, and will teach job searches via Linked In, Facebook, and other social media networks while ensuring they have the right equipment.
You will provide motivational support to build positive relationships, guide, inspire, challenge and encourage individuals toward sustainable employment.
Your ideal background includes strong digital literacy (Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Skype for Business, and other modern tools) and a personable, inclusive approach.
The role is fast‑paced, delivering bite‑sized sessions in a Learn‑and‑Go style.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑impact training solutions to meet a range of participant needsdirective, including skills assessments, How to sessions, making the most of relevant activities
- Meet personal performance targets, and all Quality chain by delivering high‑quality training to participants
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to offer high‑impact training for emerging participant needs (mock interviews, work preparation activities)
- Collaborate with the Employer Engagement Team to help introduce and deliver employer‑specific events
- Provide responsive solutions to prepare participants for employer opportunities (short sector‑based courses/routeways)
- Select suitable facilitation methods or activities for individual or group
Oct needs - Design and deliver accredited Employability and Customer Service courses
- Excellent understanding of the barriers unemployed job seekers face in securing a new job
- Knowledge of the employability industry and delivery of employability and personal development training programmes
- Experience of delivering and developing training programmes face‑to‑face and/or remotely using digital technologies
- Experience deploying motivational strategies to develop individuals
