This two-year salaried teacher training programme offers a practical and supportive pathway into teaching. Based in a single secondary school in Bournemouth, you'll gain real classroom experience from day one while working towards a fully funded PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Your first year is about confidence, exposure, and understanding what teaching really involves.

• Work as a Cover Supervisor, leading classes and supporting learning
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Work alongside experienced teachers and school staff
• Develop the skills needed to move into teacher training

In your second year, you'll progress into a trainee teacher role.

• Plan and deliver lessons with structured support
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies
• Complete a fully funded PGCE qualification
• Work towards achieving QTS, preparing you for a qualified teaching role

• £22,000-£25,000 salary while you train
