We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join our friendly Humanities team here in Bournemouth. Our school is committed to fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning—inside and outside the classroom.

This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners who want to inspire young people through engaging, high‑quality teaching.

• Teach History across Key Stage KS3/KS4 with passion and clarity.
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding of the past.
• Support and challenge students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
• Provide meaningful feedback that drives progress.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment events, and whole‑school initiatives.
• Engage with local history opportunities—Bournemouth’s rich coastal heritage offers exciting possibilities for trips and projects.

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
