We are delighted to be supporting one of our wonderful mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover contract
, starting April 2026
.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a Year 4 class within a welcoming, supportive school that values high-quality teaching, collaboration and pupil wellbeing.

As the Year 4 class teacher
, you will take full responsibility for the class and play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences. The role will include:

• Planning and delivering creative and engaging Year 4 lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assessing pupil progress and completing marking in line with school policy
• Supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally
• Attending parents’ evenings, staff meetings and relevant school meetings
• Working closely with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• A qualified Primary Teacher with QTS
• Confident in teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4
• Passionate, committed and enthusiastic about teaching
• Strong in behaviour management and classroom organisation
• A positive team player with excellent communication skills

ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
