Job Title:

KS3 & KS4 Maths and English Teacher

Location:

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

Hours:

10-25 hours a week depending on availability

Contract:

About the Role

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable KS3 and KS4 Teachers who are confident teaching Maths and English across secondary age groups. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential in both mainstream and alternative educational settings across the BCP region.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements while supporting students with varied abilities and learning needs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Maths and English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare and adapt lessons to meet individual and group learning needs
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development
  • Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals when required
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • 2 Years experience teaching Maths and/or English at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
