Early Years And KS1 Teaching Assistant SEND Teaching Assistant – Salary Grade 4, £25,989 per annum (pro rata), 30 hours per week (term time only), working 39 weeks per year and paid 44.65 weeks per year (approx. £18,045 pa).

The Hours Of Work are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30‑minute break. The role supports the safe and effective running of the EYFS and KS1 childcare at our school, helping children achieve their best learning and personal development.

  • Have a willingness to work and support children with special needs.
  • Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.
  • Have completed or be willing to complete NVQ Level 2 in childcare learning and education or an equivalent qualification.
  • Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective.
  • Be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff.
  • Be an excellent communicator.
