Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth (BH8) that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September.

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that inspire Key Stage 1 learners
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support attainment
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported
• Work closely with colleagues across Key Stage 1 to share best practice and contribute to pupil success
• Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
• Participate in school events, enrichment opportunities, and ongoing professional development

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2 (ECTs with relevant placement experience are welcome to apply)
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
• Have a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Be skilled in adapting learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive, and high‑quality education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
