We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Criminology Teacher to join our team from September.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to post-16 learners, helping students achieve their full potential in Criminology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Criminology at Level 3/A Level (or a related subject).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Criminology lessons across Key Stage 5
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Criminology.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
