Mentor, Elementary School, Teacher Assistant​/ Paraprofessional

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to join our team and support children in across the BCP.

As a Mentor/Tutor, you'll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You'll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
Position - Tutor/Mentor
Subject - Functional skills / life skills
Start date - ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
End date (if applicable)
- Full time/part-time - Part-time
The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25-£30 per hour
Hours - flexible EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential)

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
Have a minimum of 1 years' experience working in an educational setting OTHER
