The Role

Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons
Encouraging students to develop analytical and evaluative skills through the study of historical events and themes
Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
Participating in departmental planning, assessments, and school-wide initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about promoting historical enquiry and critical thinking
Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Available from September 2026
