Our two-year salaried teacher training programme gives you the opportunity to work in one school in Bournemouth, earn a salary and develop the skills needed to become a qualified teacher.

Year 1 – Cover Supervisor

Your first year will give you valuable experience of school life. You will:

Supervise classes and deliver prepared lessons
Support pupils with their learning
Develop classroom management skills
Build relationships with pupils and staff
Work alongside experienced teachers
Gain a genuine insight into the teaching profession
Year 2 – Trainee Teacher

You'll progress into formal teacher training, completing your PGCE and working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

You will develop your skills in:

Lesson planning and delivery
Assessment and pupil progress
Classroom management
Differentiation and teaching strategies
Professional development and reflective practice
