KS4 & KS5 Tutor Support Learners Through Key Examination Years

We're looking for a KS4 & KS5 Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to young people across the BCP area.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support students who require alternative educational provision and additional academic support during some of the most important stages of their education. You'll work with learners preparing for GCSEs, Functional Skills, A-Levels, BTECs, and other post-16 qualifications, helping them build confidence, improve attainment, and work towards their individual goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for education professionals who enjoy supporting older learners and delivering tailored tuition that makes a measurable difference.

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
  • Experience supporting learners at KS4 and/or KS5
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more curriculum areas
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
  • Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area
