Mechanical Engineer

Overview

With over 40 years of experience and a reputation for engineering excellence, we support water utility companies with sewage sites across the United Kingdom. We are part of CRH Infrastructure Products and operate within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team.

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding; compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with wastewater (sewage).
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in workshops across the country on occasion.
• Collaborate as part of a team with other staff and trades within the business.

• Current valid Driving License
• City & Guilds qualification
• Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
