The role:
BH Live is recruiting for a Stage and Event Lighting Technician to join our team, located in beautiful Bournemouth on the South coast, surrounded by stunning beaches and a vibrant town with shops, eateries, and attractions, this position offers a varied schedule across two buildings with six venues, including an arena, art-deco ballroom, and a 1500-seater proscenium theatre.

- Design and set up and operate lighting systems.
- Have an understanding of AV production and streaming.
- Operate, programme & design lighting and sound for our client events.
- Be involved in the general set up and removal of production equipment and sets.
- Work at heights and be able to manual handle safely and lift equipment.
- Due to the nature of our events, you will be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Work across two of our venues in Bournemouth – Bournemouth International Centre and Bournemouth Pavilion.
- Previous experience of setting up and operating sound systems within live event context.
- Experience of working within the live events and productions industry.
- A good working knowledge and understanding of DMX SCAN/ Artnet protocols and systems
- A good knowledge and understanding of PA and sound systems/ principles of sound.
