We have a new opportunity for a Senior or Principal Pricing Analyst to join our Britania Rescue team in London or Bournemouth on a hybrid basis.

You will use your insurance market knowledge and pricing expertise to develop and implement improvements to our premium rating models that enable us to deliver on our business objectives. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the Retail business to manage our Trading performance, so building and maintaining strong relationships is key to us achieving our goals. Be part of a team that’s driving innovation!

At Allianz UK, your growth is our priority. From global training through the P&C Academy to actuarial study support, we equip you with the tools to thrive. You’ll unlock premium access to platforms like Data Camp, Databricks Academy, and Linked In Learning, plus gain insider knowledge through expert-led insight sessions that sharpen both your technical edge and commercial impact.

Salary Information Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You Your role will vary day to day, but here is a bit of what you can expect:

  • Analysing quote, policy, exposure, claims and other datasets to propose changes to our premium rating models.
  • Presenting and contributing to Pricing & Trading meetings.
  • Defining, prioritising and reporting on the status of project work to support product and pricing development.
  • Assisting in coaching and developing other colleagues within the team to ensure constant up‑skilling.
  • Coordinating the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against technical modelling standards and data controls.
  • Contributing towards best practices across the department by collaborating with other Pricing and Data Science teams.

Essential Skills We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but the following will enable you to hit the ground running:

  • Experience of Willis Towers Watson Radar software, particularly with building projects in Radar Base or Live.
  • Proven experience in working with large data sources and a good command of SQL, Python, Databricks, SAS or similar coding languages.
  • Experience working in a personal lines pricing environment.
  • Good understanding of the various elements of the premium we set and how we can optimise this to deliver business targets.
  • Good stakeholder management skills, including communication, expectation management and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
  • Knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques.
