Tax Junior

We’re growing our Tax / Private Client team at Lester Aldridge and are looking for a motivated Tax Junior to join us in Bournemouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start or develop your career in tax within a supportive, professional services environment, working alongside experienced advisors on a broad range of matters.

As a Tax Junior, you’ll provide key support to the team in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across personal, trust, and estate taxation while building your technical expertise.

Assisting with preparation of:

• Self Assessment tax returns
• Trust & estate tax returns
• Trust accounts

Supporting tax payments and ensuring deadlines are met.

Liaising with clients and drafting correspondence.

Assisting with advisory work, including:

• Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning
• Capital Gains Tax (CGT) calculations
• Property taxation matters (including SDLT support)

Conducting tax research and preparing clear summaries.

Supporting workflow, billing, and compliance processes.

A proactive, detail‑oriented individual with strong numerical skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

A basic understanding of UK tax (desirable but not essential).

Experience in tax, accounting, or legal settings is a plus—but not required.

A genuine interest in developing a career in tax.
