Financial Systems Reporting Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and analytical individual to join us as a Financial Systems Reporting Analyst.

This role will lead and improve Finance reporting, planning, and BI systems to support better decision‑making and efficiency. We’re looking for someone with strong finance and data experience who can manage stakeholders, simplify processes, and drive automation.

The role is offered on a fixed‑term basis of 12 months and based out of our Bournemouth office with flexible office attendance.

• Redesign financial systems and processes by analysing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing optimised solutions.
• Represent Finance Systems in project meetings, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive change management and best practice governance ensuring structured implementation of system updates and process improvements.
• Enhance and maintain reporting tools and systems, including full end-to-end testing and validation, providing supporting documentation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on system updates, challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with third‑party software suppliers to support and improve systems.
• Define processes, support training, and champion system adoption across LV=.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across Finance Systems.
• Provide BAU support, including issue resolution, user support, training, and documentation.
• Continuously learn and develop expertise in new systems and tools, creating detailed documentation to share knowledge with the wider team.

• Demonstrated experience with Finance Systems, including Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Black Line).
• Solid accounting knowledge, particularly across MI and planning, with experience producing core financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cost centres).
• Advanced technical skills, including SQL, PL/SQL, Excel (VBA), and relational databases.
• Proven ability to drive system improvements, automation, and data-led insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
• Knowledge of financial processes and controls, ideally within Financial Services.
• Experience with integrations, reporting development, and end-to-end system delivery.
• Proactive, strategic mindset with leadership and mentoring capability.
• Experience with Tagetik, Power Query, SAP Crystal Reports, Azure/Jira, and banking/payment systems.

This role is a Band C in the LV= Structure.
