We're working with a successful and growing business in Bournemouth that is looking to bring a talented Financial Accountant into its finance team. This is a newly created opportunity, giving you the chance to step into a role with genuine responsibility, visibility and room to develop. You'll be part of a commercially minded finance team, working closely with senior stakeholders and getting involved across the wider business.

As Financial Accountant, you'll have a broad remit covering both financial accounting and commercial finance, including:

• Owning the month-end close and ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews
• Supporting statutory accounts and year-end processes
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting
• Working closely with auditors and external advisers
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls
• Providing financial insight to operational and senior management
• Supporting finance projects as the business continues to grow

There's plenty of scope to make the role your own and take on additional responsibility as your experience develops.

• Newly qualified or finalist - ACA, ACCA or CIMA .
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Commercially minded, ambitious and keen to progress
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end accounts and reconciliations,
