Community Care Team Leader Evenings
Bournemouth Area
Partnering with a Reputable Home Care Provider

Care First is partnering with a respected home care provider who is now seeking a Community Care Team Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a predominantly evening-based role, offering the chance to lead and support a committed group of Community Care Assistants while playing a key part in delivering high-quality care across the local community.

About the Role:
As the Community Care Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead, guide and advise a team of Community Care Assistants
  • Play an essential role in the assessment team
  • Support smooth transitions when welcoming new service users
  • Carry out some hands-on care responsibilities and community assessments
  • Maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends)

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday Evenings only
  • 4pm 10pm (Potential to start earlier, e.g., 2pm or 3pm, depending on desired hours)
  • Contracts available at 18, 24, or up to 34 hours per week

Pay Rates:

  • Weekday hourly rate: £13.10
  • Weekend hourly rate: £13.30
  • On-call payment: £90 (Friday approx. 3pm Monday 9am)
    • If required to cover calls, normal hourly rate will also apply
  • Rates due to increase from April 2026

Requirements:

  • Previous domiciliary care experience is essential
  • Proven experience in a similar senior or team leader role
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care
