Join us as a Recovery Worker in Bournemouth. Our team in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are recruiting Recovery Workers to join our Clinical team in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. Main duties of the jobYou will be working at our drug and alcohol service in the Clinical team. You will support clients through key working, one‑to‑one sessions and facilitating workshops. You will help service users determine their goals, ambitions and passions and create treatment plans, supporting them onto the path to recovery. You will manage an active caseload, delivering continuity of care through partnership working, care coordination, interventions, and key responsibilities.
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as required.
With You provides free and confidential support, without judgement, to more than 100,000 people every year experiencing challenges with drugs, alcohol and mental health across England and Scotland.
Job responsibilities- Work alongside the clinical team to deliver recovery care.
- Build meaningful relationships with service users and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain an effective caseload.
- Facilitate one‑to‑one sessions, workshops and key working as required.
- Coordinate care and interventions with partners.
- Compassionate, motivated, and passionate individual.
- Demonstrable experience working in health, social care, criminal justice or related setting, ideally with substance misuse issues.
- Highly organised, excellent communication skills, able to manage time effectively.
- Positive, engaging approach to service users and stakeholders.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
