An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring and motivated Reablement Assistant to join a specialist day centre and intermediate care service in Bournemouth.

This welcoming service provides short-term rehabilitation, reablement and personalised support to individuals who require assistance to regain confidence, improve independence and achieve their personal goals. Working within a supportive day centre environment, you will help clients maintain their daily living skills, promote wellbeing and support their journey towards greater independence.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in health and social care, as no previous experience is required
. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

As a Reablement Assistant
, you will play an important role in supporting individuals with their daily routines, mobility, personal care and rehabilitation goals. You will encourage independence, promote dignity and work alongside an experienced team to help clients achieve positive outcomes.

What's on offer:
  • £13.52 per hour weekdays
  • £16.31 per hour weekends
  • Full-time position – 40 hours per week
  • Early and late day shifts: 7:00am–2:30pm or 3:00pm–10:30pm
  • 5 days out of 7 rota, including weekends
  • No previous experience required
  • Full training and induction provided

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing compassionate, person-centred support within the day centre
  • Supporting clients with personal care needs, including washing, dressing and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers and daily activities following training
  • Encouraging clients to build confidence and independence

    What we're looking for:
    • A caring and compassionate attitude
    • No previous care experience required – full training provided
    • Willingness to learn and develop within health and social care
    • Commitment to completing the Care Certificate and working towards NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
    • Good communication skills
    • Reliable, flexible and professional approach
    • Ability to follow guidance and work as part of a team
    • Patient, understanding and positive attitude
    • Passion for supporting people to improve their independence and wellbeing
    Please note:

    This is a full-time day centre-based role supporting individuals with a range of needs. The successful candidate will receive full training and must be comfortable supporting people with personal care, mobility and daily living activities.
