About the role:

Join a dynamic and supportive

therapy led team and embark on a fulfilling journey as a Community Reablement Assistant. In this flexible and rewarding role,

you will be working alongside Occupational Therapists and Reablement Officers playing a vital part in helping individuals regain their confidence and independence after a hospital stay. As the first point of contact for those returning home, you’ll provide essential support and bring positivity to their recovery journey, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day.

What you’ll do

• Supporting people with their personal care and empowering them to do as much as possible on their own.
• Monitoring and providing feedback on the progress of people’s goals.
• Assisting with medication and encouraging independence.
• Completing care records and other relevant paperwork.
• Facilitating access to community groups and services.

A valid licence and use of a car for work purposes will be required as the role involves visiting people across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

35 hours per week

Previous experience in a care setting would be an advantage and you must hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care. A valid licence to drive in the UK is required as the role involves travelling locally and lone working.

• Competitive Hourly Rate: From £13.74 per hour with opportunities for career and pay progression. Staff are paid for the whole shift.
• Higher Pay on Weekends (from £17.17 an hour) and Bank Holidays (from £27.48 an hour)
