Functional / Disability Assessor (PIP)

Salary: £40,000–£44,000 starting salary (pathway-dependent) + guaranteed uplifts + bonuses

Location:

Tamarisk House, 1 Cotlands Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH1 3BG
— office-based during training, 50/50 hybrid after

Working Hours:

Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. No nights. No weekends. No on-call.

Conducting face-to-face, phone, or video consultations with people living with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
Reviewing medical evidence and applying your clinical judgement to assess functional capacity
Writing clear, objective, evidence-based reports

Active NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration — Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience (adult experience, as you'll assess ages 16–65)
Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills, plus confident report writing and IT use
Full Right to Work in the UK required (sponsorship not available)
