Hybrid Working | UK Based | International Market

Volantes Technical Recruitment is a specialist aviation recruitment business supplying contract and permanent engineering, maintenance and technical personnel to operators and MRO organisations worldwide.

Founded in 2020, we have grown from a start-up into a trusted partner across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, supporting clients across both rotary and fixed-wing aviation.

Our network ranges from helicopter offshore operations through to business aviation, CAMO and heavy maintenance environments.

We’re now looking to strengthen our internal team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant.

This role is ideally suited to someone already working within aviation recruitment (or a closely aligned technical engineering sector) who is looking for more autonomy, real ownership of their desk and the opportunity to build long‑term relationships in a genuinely specialist market.

The Role

This is a full 360 recruitment position where you will manage the entire hiring process from first contact through to placement and ongoing relationship management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and qualifying aviation engineering and technical candidates
  • Managing candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Building and maintaining a strong international contractor network
  • New business development with operators, MROs and aviation organisations
  • Account managing existing clients worldwide
  • Supporting contractors with onboarding, compliance and mobilisation
  • Negotiating terms, rates and offers
  • Representing Volantes within a close‑knit global aviation community

You won’t be handed a list and told to resell jobs — you’ll be trusted to build and run your own desk with support from an experienced team.

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who understands the realities of a specialist recruitment desk and enjoys relationship‑driven recruitment rather than high‑volume CV sending.

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous recruitment experience (aviation recruitment highly advantageous)
  • 360 recruitment experience
  • Experience working with contractors or technical professionals
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Commercial awareness and confidence negotiating rates and terms
  • Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach

You do not need an aviation engineering background — but you should be comfortable working in a technical environment and engaging with engineers and operators daily.
