Position: Payment Lifecycle Analyst - Swift Monitoring

Join our Control Room Team as a Payment Lifecycle Analyst—monitor Swift systems, resolve incidents, and ensure seamless operations 24/7.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst – Swift Monitoring in Control Room Team, you will monitor and maintain various application infrastructures. You will act as a single point of contact for the Line of Business and external service providers for all applications and connectivity related issues and you will elevate all issues and alerts to the incident manager in order to remediate and resolve incidents with minimal business impact.

This role is for EMEA shift and a 24/7 function.

Job responsibilities
  • Understand current Swift architecture and infrastructure, assessing business impacts from disruptions to message and transaction flows.
  • Monitor all systems and queues across platforms to ensure operational continuity.
  • Investigate alerts and take necessary actions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Initiate and open Service Centre tickets for incident tracking and resolution.
  • Identify and elevate issues through the Incident Management process, participating in calls to provide operational insights.
  • Participate in business requirement activities, ensuring monitoring tasks are considered for automation.
  • Support testing activities and implementation events as needed.
  • Own and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where appropriate.
  • Engage in Command Center activities, including cross-training with team members.
  • Work in shifts including mandatory weekend work by rota basis.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience of working as part of a Global team.
  • Demonstrates accountability and concern for quality of work.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrates accountability and concern for quality of work.
  • Experience in SWIFT message monitoring.
  • Payment knowledge.
