Starting salary for this role is £28,598 (pro rata for part-time colleagues).

This role sits within a well defined pay band, offering clear progression as you grow your career hout exception all new starters begin at the entry point of the band, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organisation. Internal colleagues are also normally appointed at the bottom of the band, unless moving within the same profession and skill level, where the pay band is the same they can be appointed to the existing pay point.

Our Seafront Service is responsible for the management and development of our beautiful world-renowned coastline, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, effective and committed individual to join our Seafront Maintenance Team.

Working directly with the Seafront Maintenance Team, you would be responsible for assisting with the day‑to‑day operation of seafront facilities and services. Whilst not an exhaustive list, the focus of this role will be related to:

• Carrying out repairs to Beach Huts, Facilities and outdoor assets
• Delivering great customer service
• Complying with Health & Safety policies and procedures

This is a unique opportunity requiring a special individual who enjoys working in a mutually supportive and collaborative team environment but also can work well on their own initiative.

• Experience of working in a maintenance environment
• Experience of working to Health and Safety policies and procedures
• A full and valid driving licence

This role requires full flexibility. It will be working 5 in 7 days, which will include some Bank Holiday and weekends to meet the needs of the business. No holidays to be taken in June, July and August.
