Roadside Technician Nights – Bournemouth / Ferndown, Dorset
Salary
: £36,400 – £60,000 per year (base £42,921.87 inclusive of night allowance, OTE up to £60,000)

Responsibilities- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
- Respond to faults such as flat battery, tyre change, or complex fault‑finding
- Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members
- Work from home at the start and end of each day, attending local calls within the Bournemouth cluster (Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Wareham, Swanage)
- Operate own RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit supplied
- Maintain high customer‑focused service and handle varied roadside challenges safely and efficiently
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer‑focused approach and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Base pay of £42,921.87 per year, with realistic OTE up to £60,000
