Working hours:
7:00am 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to occasionally work 10:30am 7:00pm to support business needs. ? Join our Facilities team We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to join our Bournemouth office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and thrives in a customer-focused environment. As part of our Facilities team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our offices operate smoothly and safely every day.
From basic building maintenance and logistics to supporting events and health & safety, no two days are the same. What you'll be doing As a Maintenance Coordinator, you'll provide a wide range of support across our offices, including:
Carrying out basic building maintenance, repairs and planned inspections. Supporting the day-to-day running of our offices, ensuring facilities remain safe, clean and well maintained. Managing internal logistics, including furniture moves, room set-ups and office relocations. Processing incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and courier services. Supporting office events, meeting room set-up and general facilities requests. Assisting with health & safety checks, fire alarm testing and emergency procedures.
Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues using our facilities management systems. Driving the company vehicle for deliveries and collections when required. Supporting sustainability initiatives, waste management and recycling. Delivering an excellent service to colleagues, clients and visitors across the firm. ? What we're looking for We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking or a similar hands-on role. Good practical DIY and basic building maintenance skills an advantage A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and resolve them efficiently. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems. A full, clean UK driving licence.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. A flexible approach to working hours when required. Qualifications in property maintenance (such as City & Guilds or NVQ) are desirable, although we're happy to support training for the right candidate. ? Why join Lester Aldridge?
