Job overviewAre you a highly skilled, experienced maintenance professional ? #TeamUHD are looking for a maintenance technician ( mechanical ) to join the Estates department on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site.
Estates provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You ’ll have completed a recognised m echanical or b uilding s ervices apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance . This could be BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
We’re looking for someone with a current UK (manual) driving licence.
You’ll be working on a shift pattern with participation in an emergency on-call rota with opportunities for overtime.
Salary: £32,073 – £39,043 per annum (Band5) plus local RRP (£3,500 pa) and an approximate £1,000 on-call retainer. As this is a shift-working position, enhancements are payable in line with Agenda for Change, which is estimated to add around £5,000–£6,000 per annum to total earnings.
