We are expanding and creating a Registered Manager opportunity within our organisation. This role is for an existing, well-established home
, and you’ll be stepping into a setting with strong foundations. The current manager is staying with the company, ensuring continuity and support as you take the lead.
Our homes are intentionally small (
maximum of two young people
) so you can deliver genuine child-centred care without the pressures of larger settings. We specialise in supporting children with Autism, trauma, and learning difficulties
, and our therapeutic model is at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape culture and practice, backed by a supportive leadership team and Directors who value reflective practice, innovation, and excellent outcomes
.
- Lead the home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
- Provide strong leadership, embedding trauma-informed practice
- Build trusting relationships with young people to help them heal and thrive
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and compliance
- Develop and coach a high-performing staff team
- Work closely with local authorities, parents, and external agencies
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- 2+ years’ experience in children’s residential care (Manager or Deputy Manager level)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, safeguarding, and behaviour support
- Emotional resilience and ability to model excellent practice
- Full UK driving licence + Enhanced DBS
Salary: £50,000 (£47,000 basic) plus on-going bonus of £250 per month for maintaining the existing two young people and a GOOD OFSTED rating.
Further increase in basic pay to £52,000 per annum, if becoming dual-registered.
In addition to the Basic pay above, we offer the following bonus scheme (as long as a minimum of ‘Good’ rating is maintained):
- Achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from an OFSTED inspection- £750 bonus (one-off)
- Bonus scheme (up to £66,000 with dual registration)
- Blue Light Card eligibility
- Strong training & progression pathway
- Supportive senior management team
This is an existing home with a strong foundation. The current manager is staying with the company, and this new role has been created due to expansion — a rare chance to join a forward-thinking organisation at an exciting stage of growth.
