We are seeking to appoint a new Interventional Radiology Service Manager. The Interventional Radiology Service at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital covers complex IR and vascular services for the whole of the Dorset region, including part of Wiltshire.

University Hospitals Dorset is one of Britain's leading healthcare providers in the NHS. It was created in October 2020 by bringing together two Trusts:
Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital.

The Interventional Radiology Service Manager will be accountable for the leadership, management, development and co-ordination of the Interventional Radiology Services across East Dorset. The successful applicant will ensure delivery of responsive, high quality and efficient services within the resources available without compromising the quality of care we provide to our patients.

The successful individual will be an astute, driven, flexible and a determined individual who has a proven management and leadership skills. You will have a strong record of delivery and be considered inspirational and engaging by both staff and external partners.

• Significant experience as a Senior Manager within Radiology
• Significant demonstrable experience of delivering end to end change in a service or function with scale and complexity
• Leading multiple teams/ leading individuals that manage complex service areas
• Significant demonstrable experience of successfully managing budgets such as budget setting, monitoring and actively managing variation whilst carrying the weight of the responsibility of providing a quality service to patients

• BA Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Senior Leadership / Management Qualification or significant demonstrable experience
• Master level qualification in Radiology or related specialised knowledge/experience across multiple services
