Care Home Manager

Home Manager – Branksome Heights Care Home, Bournemouth

We are seeking an experienced CQC-Registered Home Manager to lead Branksome Heights, a purpose-built nursing home in Bournemouth rated Good by CQC and located near the picturesque Upper Gardens. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure full CQC compliance, deliver high-quality nursing and dementia care, achieve financial targets, and maintain optimum occupancy. You will be supported by Operations and Central teams, alongside an on-site Deputy Manager, Hospitality Manager, and Administrator.

• Lead and develop a compassionate, high-performing team
• Recruit, train, and retain skilled care professionals
• Maintain regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement toward Outstanding
• Manage budgets and deliver strong commercial performance
• Drive occupancy through strategic marketing
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders
• Oversee administration, performance monitoring, and risk management

• Previous nursing home management experience
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards
• NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience
• Proven commercial and marketing experience in the private care sector
• Passionate about person-centred care and service development
