Frontline Support Manager

The role

As Frontline Support Manager, you’ll act as the vital link between operational staff and leadership—supporting supervisors, coordinating daily activities, managing key processes and ensuring teams have what they need to deliver high‑quality output. Your work will allow frontline supervisors to stay focused on leading their people, maintaining safety, and driving production performance.

Day‑to‑day, you’ll be:
  • Providing operational support to enable supervisors to focus on leading their teams and delivering production goals.
  • Analysing data and producing clear reports to support decision‑making and performance improvement.
  • Managing resources and budgets within your area, ensuring efficient use of time, people and materials.
  • Supporting compliance, safety processes and quality standards across the team.
  • Coordinating and helping streamline desk‑based, complex or time‑consuming tasks to enable smoother operations.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at DSG Bovington, Dorset, with the option to work 4 or 5 days per week (to be discussed at interview.)

Essential experience of the Frontline Support Manager
  • Training in lean management or continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint and ERP systems.
  • Experience using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Clarity)
Qualifications for the Frontline Support Manager
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, NVQ, GCSE) or equivalent workplace experience.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
