We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to help launch and lead a brand-new childrens residential home in Bournemouth.

The home will support up to four children and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs and additional support requirements.

You will join at the start of the services development and play a key role in the Ofsted registration process, recruitment, service setup and ongoing management of the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and Ofsted registration of the new home
• Recruit, develop and manage the care team
• Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and person-centred care
• Manage staffing, budgets and day-to-day operations
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals and local authorities

Requirements

• Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
• At least two years experience as a Registered Manager
• Strong experience within childrens residential care
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation
