Bournemouth Airport is seeking a highly organised and proactive Document Control Officer to support the effective management of our regulatory, safety and quality systems across Aerodrome Operations, Air Navigation Service Provision (ANSP) and Health & Safety. This is a pivotal role within our Safety team, ensuring that our documented management systems are accurate, compliant, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.

the Role

Reporting to the Head of Safety, you will take ownership of the Airport’s Document Management System, ensuring robust version control, controlled circulation and legislative compliance. You will work closely with internal departments and external regulatory bodies, acting as a key company representative during audits, inspections and compliance reviews.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly regulated environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and is motivated by maintaining high standards of safety, quality and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain manuals, procedures, policies and controlled documents
  • Ensure version control and compliance with CAA, DfT, EASA and ICAO standards
  • Support internal/external audits and track corrective actions
  • Assist with safety, quality and compliance system improvements
  • Deliver training and support teams on documentation standards
About You:
  • Strong knowledge of EASA/CAA regulations
  • Understanding of Health & Safety (HSG
    65)
  • Recognised qualification in compliance or quality management (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of CAP 168/642 and aerodrome certification requirements

Aviation experience, Train the Trainer, understanding of aerodrome operations
