Smyths Toys Superstores is Europe's top toy retailer specialising in toys, software, outdoor and nursery products.

We are recruiting a fully flexible Outdoor Assistant who will be trained as a bike builder. The role involves providing a high level of customer service, supporting the team in reaching daily sales targets, and maintaining the department's inventory and visual presentation.

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist shoppers with outdoor and bike products.
• Help the team achieve daily sales targets.
• Keep the department well stocked and well presented at all times.
• Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team.
• Undergo full training to become a bike builder.

• Retail experience in outdoor or bicycle products preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and busy trading days.

The position is a temporary contract with flexible hours. Pay is £12.90 per hour for employees over 21 and £11.00 per hour for those under 21. Job types include contract, part‑time and full‑time.

Temporary contract with a flexible schedule. The role may require weekend work. Pay details are as above.
