Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the South West. This is a field‑based role focused on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the capital equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities across the region
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and market research
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with new clients
• Identify customer needs and deliver tailored capital equipment solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Business Development / Sales role within capital equipment
• Strong track record of prospecting and winning new business
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships and influence decision‑makers
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working autonomously
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Full UK driving licence

• Base salary of £50,000-£55,000
