Fire Alarm and Lighting Tester

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Fire Alarm and Lighting Tester to join a busy Fire and Security team. This is a hands-on role, predominantly out on the road, testing fire alarms, emergency lighting, and automatic opening vents across Dorset and Hampshire.

You’ll be supported with a company van, fuel card, iPhone, iPad, and all necessary training, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, mobile role and wants to develop their career in fire safety compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Carrying out routine compliance testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and automatic opening vents

* Logging all work accurately using iPad-based software

* Managing your own time on the road to complete tasks efficiently

* Keeping up to date with industry-relevant training

* Representing the company positively in all customer interactions

What We’re Looking For:

* Full UK driving licence with at least 1 year’s experience

* Hands-on, practical approach with a strong attention to detail

* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

* Willingness to complete licence, essential qualifications, and basic disclosure checks
