What you will do

  • Conduct statutory visits to ensure children are receiving the care and support they need.
  • Engage in family finding activities to secure permanent homes for children in care.
  • Navigate the adoption matching process with diligence, aligning children with loving families.
  • Participate in court work to advocate for children’s best interests and support legal processes.
  • Undertake direct work with children around permanence and adoption to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  • Travel around the UK, using various transportation methods, to effectively fulfil your duties and reach families in need.

This role is ideal for candidates with around 3 years of post-qualifying experience, particularly those with a background in adoption and working with children in care.
