** We are seeking an experienced and motivated
** Housing Related Support Commissioning Manager
** to lead the strategic commissioning and development of supported accommodation services across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole  this influential role, you will shape and deliver a sustainable pipeline of supported housing that meets both current and future needs. Working collaboratively with people who use housing support services, supported housing providers, developers, strategic partners, and colleagues across the Council, you will help create housing solutions that enable individuals to live independently and thrive.

By championing accessible, adaptable, and person-centred accommodation, you will play a key role in building stronger communities, increasing access to settled housing, and ensuring people have safe, secure, and sustainable homes. ** In this pivotal role, you will:
*** Lead the commissioning and development of supported accommodation services for adults requiring housing-related support.
* Drive service improvement and enhance the performance of commissioned housing support services.
* Champion co-production, ensuring that people with lived experience help shape commissioning decisions and service development.
* Develop commissioning strategies and strengthen relationships with providers, developers, and partners to build a robust accommodation pipeline.
* Lead strategic needs assessments and undertake regular market engagement activities.
* Promote innovation and national best practice across the homelessness and supported housing sectors.
* Work closely with contracted providers to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.
* Identify opportunities to improve service pathways, increase move-on options, and reduce reliance on temporary and emergency accommodation.
* Support providers to develop and implement service improvement plans where required.
* Monitor market trends, emerging needs, risks, and service performance to inform strategic planning.
* Improve value for money and contribute to reducing expenditure on costly temporary accommodation.
** To be successful in this role, you will have:
*** Education to A-Level standard or equivalent relevant professional experience.
* A strong understanding of housing legislation, commissioning, procurement, and contract management principles.
* Experience working within housing, homelessness, supported housing, social care, or a related field.
* Strong financial management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
* Proven experience of procurement, contract monitoring, performance management, and quality assurance.
* The ability to develop effective partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
